Edge Integrated Systems Pty Ltd · ACN 695 330 221 · Effective: May 2026 · Western Australia, Australia

Important: EDGE is a governance verification platform. It structures and documents governance processes. It does not make governance decisions, approve work, provide safety assurance, or constitute legal or regulatory advice. Reading these terms in full before using the platform is required.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EDGE platform operated by Edge Integrated Systems Pty Ltd (ACN 695 330 221) ("Edge Integrated Systems", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users of the platform including maintenance supervisors, PTW coordinators, engineers, operations managers, and administrative users.

2. Description of Service

EDGE is a deterministic governance verification platform for high-consequence industrial work order management. The platform:

  • Accepts work order reference numbers from CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent) without integration
  • Applies a structured multi-domain governance assessment to each work order
  • Produces a deterministic governance outcome based on submitted field values
  • Generates locked, immutable governance evidence records
  • Produces output documents (Governance Scorecard, Full Report, Executive Briefing) from locked records

EDGE operates within the Validate™ / Verdict™ / Pipeline product architecture protected by Provisional Patent Application No. 2026903953 (IP Australia, April 2026).

3. Critical Disclaimers

EDGE governs process — not decisions. A governance outcome of PASS or PROCEED WITH CONDITIONS does not mean the work is safe, approved, or authorised to proceed. It means the governance process has been completed to the standard required by your organisation's configuration. The decision to proceed remains with the appropriate human authority.

3.1 Not a Safety Assurance

EDGE does not provide safety assurance. A PASS outcome does not constitute a finding that the work is safe. Users remain responsible for all safety obligations under applicable law including but not limited to:

  • Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA); Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld, NSW); Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic)
  • Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 (WA)
  • Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006 (Cth)
  • Rail Safety National Law
  • ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
  • ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management
  • AS/NZS 4801 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

3.2 Not Legal or Regulatory Advice

Nothing produced by the EDGE platform constitutes legal advice, regulatory guidance, or a determination of compliance with any law, standard, or regulation. Governance records are documentation tools, not legal opinions. Users requiring legal or regulatory advice must consult qualified legal counsel.

3.3 Not a Permit to Work

EDGE is not a permit to work system. A governance record produced by EDGE does not constitute a permit to work, a work authorisation, or an isolation certificate. Operators must maintain and use appropriate permit to work systems independently of EDGE.

3.4 Not a Replacement for Existing Systems

EDGE does not replace safety management systems, CMMS platforms, permit to work systems, or any other operational system. It operates upstream of those systems as a governance verification layer.

4. Industry Standards and Regulatory Framework

EDGE is designed for use in regulated industrial environments. The governance domains assessed by the platform are informed by the following standards and frameworks, among others:

  • ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
  • ISO 31000:2018 — Risk Management — Guidelines
  • ISO 55001:2014 — Asset Management — Management Systems
  • ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management Systems
  • AS/NZS 4801:2001 — Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
  • AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 — Risk Management
  • NOPSEMA Safety Case Guidelines — Offshore petroleum safety cases
  • National Electricity Rules — Electricity network operations
  • Rail Safety National Law — Rail operations safety management
  • Bow-Tie methodology — Barrier-based risk assessment
  • ALARP principle — As Low As Reasonably Practicable risk reduction
  • HAZOP methodology — Hazard and Operability Study

Reference to these standards does not constitute certification, accreditation, or endorsement by any standards body. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of EDGE is consistent with the specific requirements of applicable standards and regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

The EDGE platform, including its deterministic governance evaluation framework, scoring architecture, product mode architecture, and all associated software, is the intellectual property of Edge Integrated Systems Pty Ltd.

The platform is protected by Provisional Patent Application No. 2026903953 (IP Australia, April 2026). A complete patent application and PCT international filing are in preparation. Eleven or more separable patentable inventions have been identified across the EDGE architecture.

VALIDATE™, VERDICT™, and PIPELINE™ are product names of Edge Integrated Systems Pty Ltd. Unauthorised use of these names is prohibited.

Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or reproduce any part of the EDGE platform without written authorisation from Edge Integrated Systems Pty Ltd.

6. User Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted to the platform
  • Users are responsible for ensuring governance records are reviewed by appropriately qualified and authorised persons before any work proceeds
  • Users must not submit confidential third-party information to the demonstration environment
  • Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing their operations
  • Users must not attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or tamper with governance outcomes

7. Demonstration Environment

The demonstration environment contains pre-seeded, illustrative data representing fictional industrial organisations and work orders. Demonstration data does not represent real operational governance records and must not be used as evidence in any regulatory, legal, or insurance proceeding.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edge Integrated Systems Pty Ltd excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or consequence arising from:

  • Reliance on any governance record, outcome, or output produced by the platform
  • Any decision to proceed with or defer work based on a platform output
  • Any incident, injury, or fatality occurring in connection with work governed through the platform
  • Interruption to platform availability
  • Data loss or corruption

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
